We are experts in Geosciences and Reservoir Engineering
Our skills range from seismic interpretation and structural geology to dynamic reservoir modelling. We essentially do everything except operations and lab analysis. This includes field work, seismic processing, seismic interpretation, sequence stratigraphy, QI geophysics, mapping, structural and stratigraphic modelling, geochemistry, basin modelling, petrophysics, static modelling, dynamic modelling, field development planning and economics.
How it all began
The 3D-GEO consultancy concept began in the late 1990’s when a group of Melbourne University academics with substantial petroleum industry experience focussing on structural modelling in the PNG foldbelt decided that consulting to the broader Oil and Gas industry would bring more challenges and financial rewards. In early 2001 the 3D GEO partnership was registered and we have been delivering quality geotechnical evaluations to the Petroleum, Mining, Geothermal and CCS sectors ever since.
We are just as comfortable in the field as in the classroom.
